Coach Rolando García
Donation protected
Rolando García, coach at Donna ISD, is battling cancer. He was diagnosed with a malignant tumor close to his liver and the cancer had spread to 90% of his bone marrow. He is undergoing aggressive chemotherapy at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston. About 2 weeks ago, they had to quickly evacuate the house that he and his family were living in because it was affected by the recent flooding near the Brazos river. They did not have renter's or flood insurance and all of their belongings (furniture, electronics etc..), except some clothing and shoes, were ruined by the flood waters. They are now living in a hotel while Roland continues his chemotherapy at MD Anderson.
With all of the medical costs that they are incurring, with Roland being hospitalized here at DHR in Edinburg, in ICU in Katy, his initial month long stay at MD Anderson, his 5 day long chemo treatments, and now with the flooding, the strain and pressure are affecting him and his family.
If you could please find it in your hearts to donate any amount, to help them out in their time of need, it would greatly be appreciated. Thank You.
