Hello There,
The sweet family, of four, that you see above has had a few unexpected trials come up the last couple of months. These four people also, hold the most special place in my heart, being that they are my siblings and nephews. At a time that should be so exciting as they are awaiting baby #2, they have also experienced a lot of fears. Baby Boy has two holes in his heart, one that will definitely require surgery. He also has a medical condition called Esophigal Artesia, where his esophagus and his stomach are not attached, so he will need surgery immediately after he is born. We felt very settled and comfortable with all of that news. Although last night, Ashley's water broke, two months early, giving us another fright. Ashley was life flighted from Dixie Hospital in St. George, UT to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT with hopes that Baby Boy can stay in mamas tummy just a little longer (a week or two more). Even staying in a little longer, Baby Boy will still be very tiny, and going in for surgery a few minutes after he is born. We feel extremely blessed that this sweet Baby Boy has these specialists available to help and love on him when he does come, and our faith has been truly strengthened knowing within the depths of our souls that everything is going to be okay. Ethan, the father of the baby, was able to also be life flighted with his wife, Ashley. He is sitting by her side being the biggest support and holding strong for her, despite the fact that 300 miles away their home has an empty nursery that they were not able to prepare and budget for as planned. Also, Ethan is staying by his wife and babies side until they are not in a critical state, so he is out of work for a couple of weeks atleast. I know that they will rally around each other and do what needs to be done to take care of their little family. Although being their sister and aunt, I feel like the love we can show them by coming together and pulling through for them right now, is the ultimate gift. Having a baby is usually a time that is full of so much love and joy, and although I know they are feeling those feelings, I feel we can all be a part of intensifying those once in a lifetime feelings, by coming together and rallying around them. I want to suprise them by being able to get everything bought, prepped, and ready so their nursery is completely set up for when they come home, and lastly be able to pay a few months of their bills (rent, power, water, gas, car payment, etc) so they can just be together during this time and not worry about the minuscule things. This is the utmost way to show your love, during this extremely difficult time. Thank you so much in advance for all of your love and support. Every cent means more than you can imagine, and does not go unnoticed.
