Gretchens celebration of life

On June 1st 2016 the world lost an amazing woman. My mom was kind and caring and touched the lives and hearts of so many people. After being admitted into St. Joes hospital, they discovered she had cancer that had overcome her entire spine and had managed to block the airway to her lung that resulted in a collapsed lung. She was so strong, she worked as if nothing major was going on up until two days before she would be taken to her final place of rest. Upon arrival they discovered she had multiple lesions thoughtout the entire spine, the bones in her skull, multiple fractures throughout her back and spine, and blood clots in the right lung and a non functioning left lung. Talk about working through the pain and staying strong for others around you. She was the most selfless person I have ever known.

I want to be able to throw her an amazing celebration to let her know how much she meant to everyone around her. As the only child I know that I alone will not be able to afford doing what she deserves and I figured if her friends and family were able to help we could do something very special.
