The Joseph Liga Family Memorial Fund

Affectionately known by many as "Joe the Baker," Joseph Liga passed away on December 8, 2020.  He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Angela and their two beautiful daughters, Gina, 12, and Giuseppina, 1. In the fall of 2019, Joe realized a life-long professional dream of owning his own bakery when he opened the Briarcliff Baking Company .  Joe was a daily presence at his bakery and worked tirelessly to keep his bakery running during the coronavirus pandemic, which started just a few months after opening.  A devoted husband and loving father, if he wasn't at his bakery, you would find Joe spending every spare moment with Angela, Gina and Giusy.  Those who knew Joe best, would say he had a no-nonsense personality with a heart of gold and a great sense of humor.  He was generous beyond words to friends and family and will be missed by so many of us.
 
Everyday, Joe dedicated his life to providing for his family.  We are now asking that all who knew Joe and Angela to help this family in their time of need.  All funds raised by this campaign will go directly to Angela and her daughters to help ease the financial strain that this family will endure and directly support Gina and Giusy's future.  This year has brought struggles and hardship to many, and with Joe's passing, to Angela and her daughters.  During this difficult time,  please find it in your hearts to contribute to this campaign.  Every donation is appreciated and will support what Joe treasured most in his life, his beautiful family.  Thank you.
