Baby Jameson Davis

Meet little baby Jameson, son and first and only child of John and Brooke Davis. He was born in September of last year.
A couple of weeks ago, this little guy was diagnosed with Primary Hyperoxaluria Type 1. As a result, calcium has accumulated in his kidneys, and they have stopped working. He needs a kidney and a liver transplant.

John is a maintenance tech and a volunteer fire fighter. Now, he is fighting to save the life of his child, and this is beginning to take its toll.
In a heartfelt Facebook post, John stated "Yesterday we brought Jameson to the ER. He wasn't acting right and had decreased urine output. They ran labs and we found that he is in kidney failure. He was transported to Peyton Manning Children's Hospital and had surgery to put in a central line and dialysis port. He has gotten a blood transfusion and is dialyzed continuously. His lab work has gotten better and the dialysis is slowly working to correct the toxins in his body. Still waiting on more tests to find out what the cause is. Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers. Our little angel is so strong and his little body is trying so hard to get better."
We are raising money to help this young family get through this extremely tough emotional time. As many can tell you, medical expenses for life saving treatments are astronmical these days. No parent should have to struggle with financial anxiety while trying to save the life of thier child, so any money donated will be used for medical testing and expenses, travel costs, and maybe even a few hot meals for these young parents to help them get through this trying time.

This family is already humbled by the outpouring of support they have seen for their little Jameson. Unfortunately, there is such a long way to go. If each person was willing to give a dollar, or two dollars, or five dollars, it mean so much to a family that hasn't even seen their share of firsts yet. First steps, first birthday cake.
This is a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid, so hopefully, lord willing, positive updates every couple of days will be enough payment for the kindness that you have shown a family that so desperately needs our help.
In the meantime, please keep little Jameson in your prayers.
