Hello everyone! On December 1st, my sister, Kelsey, and her husband Anthony, welcomed their twin boys into this world. Christopher and Thomas were apparently in quite the rush to get here and were born at 28 weeks 5 days. They were admitted to the NICU for treatment and will remain there well into the month of January. They still have lots of growing to do before they are ready to head out into the world, especially considering the frigid temperatures that await them at their discharge from the hospital!

This has been a difficult week for Kelsey and Anthony as they simultaneously rejoice at the birth of their boys while remaining anxious for what these next weeks will hold. I wanted to create this GoFundMe to help ease some of the financial stress from them, allowing them to focus their time and energy solely on their beautiful family. This fund will help them to cover the costs of gas and food as they settle into a new normal of caring for their boys in a hospital almost an hour from home. Your donations will also go towards alleviating some of the stress that comes from missing more work than they had originally planned for (hey America, nudge, paid maternity/paternity leave, nudge).

Having gone through the NICU experience with our children, I can tell you that at times it is overwhelming, and as a parent you can feel helpless. If even a few donations can prevent some unnecessary stress for Kelsey and Anthony and their beautiful new family then I will be so grateful. Thank you.
