Hi All-

I hate reaching out like this but I’m a single mom of 4 amazing kids. I recently was laid off from my job due to budget cuts. In order to keep a roof over my head and food in my kids bellies: I’m turning to community. I do get EBT, I do not get welfare (I’m not eligible as they go off your child support order, don’t care if the other parent actually pays or not), I do not get section 8 - we are waitlisted. I don’t want to go back to a shelter but that seems my only option, at this point. I am in school, completing a 1 year certificate program so that I can increase my pay and better my life for my kids. God Bless Everyone who has read this far. Praying for God to make a way for us.
