Hello everyone, my name is Brandon Richards. I am here to start a GoFundMe for my father, John Richards Jr. On Tuesday 6/2 during a follow-up visit to the ED after being diagnosed with blood clots in his legs, we were given some concerning news about an abdominal scan that needed further investigation. On the morning of 6/3 after an extensive workup at Sister's Hospital in Buffalo, my father was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer with metastases to the liver. We will plan for him to follow up at Wilmot Cancer Center for his cancer needs after he leaves Sister's Hospital. I am starting a GoFundMe in order to help lessen my father's burden of costs related to his treatments, including medical bills, co-pays, transportation, etc. We are also planning a benefit for my father to help raise money as well; the date, time, and location are to be determined.
