Fight for Dave

He has lived in Colby most of his life, CHS grad, worked for Thomas County Sheriff office, City of Colby police officer. Got cancer in his salivary gland in September of 2010, had surgery and was cancer free until he had an emergency appendectomy in January of 2015 and was diagnosed with the same cancer in his lung shortly after that. He had been doing periodic maintenance PET scans, MRIs, and biopsies and the last biopsy the end of May showed growth and, according to his oncologist, he will have to start chemo soon. David will be making a trip to MD Anderson Research Hospital in Houston for a 2nd opinion before treatment is finalized. David is currently unemployed as he was let go at High Plains Co-op where he had been working and consequently lost not only his health insurance but also his life insurance. The Cobra health insurance is extremely expensive but is intact as it is so vital at this point! Understanding that we all have obligations, any monetary contribution would be greatly appreciated....if that is not an option, the gift of a prayer on his behalf will be welcomed just as much.
