As you know, mission work is something that is very important in our lives. We have been given the
opportunity to take a mission trip this summer as a whole family. We are planning to go to Eastern Europe in July to serve the refugees. This will be an opportunity to live life, share meals, play with kids, and simply “rehumanize” people who have been displaced from their homes. As we do all of this, we are being the hands and feet of Jesus, loving on those who are in need of a friend.
One of the most exciting parts of this trip is that this will be Olivia and Eli’s first mission trip! They are so
excited about this opportunity and have really caught the vision for themselves. Olivia has even been selling her arts and crafts to help raise money for the trip. Olivia has written these words, from her heart, to share with you all:
“We are going to Croatia to help refugees. We would like you to help us in this privilege. It means a lot for us to be able to go. But first we need some money for the trip. We think it would be awesome if you could help us.”
This trip will cost about $10,000 for our family of four. As of today, we have raised over half of this, so we are well on our way! We have been working hard to save and raise the funds, and part of that
includes asking our family and friends to prayerfully consider supporting us.
