The W.A. Bess Elementary PTO are wanting to make fundraising easy this year. We are doing the Non-Fundraiser Fundraisering and Go Fund Me is having a competition that we can join and possibly win $10,000. #GFMToSchool The more donations we receive on the Go Fund Me Campaign the more chances we have to win. This is to support our school with student and teacher resources and supplies. If we can get $30,000 in donations then we will not have to do any other major fundraisers. How awesome would that be!!!

Dear Parents,
In the past, Bess PTO has hosted several fundraisers during the school year. Our students and their families have always done an exceptional job raising money by selling wrapping paper, cookie dough, kitchen and home products, magazines, etc. However, we know how valuable your time and money is. We fully understand what a burden it can be for each of you to ask neighbors, family, and friends to buy these items year after year. For this reason, the Bess PTO Board of Directors, along with Bess Administrators have decided to host our first Non-Fundraising Fundraiser. This year, we are simply asking each family to make a 100% tax deductible donation to W.A. Bess PTO. This may be the easiest thing you do all year-nothing to sell here!
Unlike most fundraisers, 100% of your contribution will go the W.A. Bess. The PTO uses your contribution to provide our students and teachers with resources and opportunities otherwise unavailable. In order to reach our goal of $30,000, we are asking families to contribute $50 per student to support our school. If you are not able to give $50, we kindly ask for a donation of whatever you feel you can do at this time or pledge to donate throughout the year. If we join together and raise our goal, this will be the only major fundraiser (fall fundraiser and Walk-A-Thon usually) for the 2016-2017 school year (we will still be having BBQ, because it is so much fun). If we do not reach our goal, we will explore fundraising options for spring. Please keep in mind that numerous companies match contributions made by their employees. Grandparents, family members, and friends are often willing to make a tax deductible donation as well. You may want to check with them to help us reach our goal.
Along with hosting our numerous events throughout the year (the more we collect over our goal the more fun days and events we will have), your contributions will help us purchase needed electronics, resources for teachers and students, and as a long term goals, electronic marquee sign and playground equipment.
The class that collects the highest dollar amount of contributions will win a fun day experience with a pizza party and more. Our teachers are very excited about this opportunity! In addition, any class that has 100% participation (regardless of donation amount), will receive a popsicle party at school. Please help your student’s class reach this goal for a fun in-school event!
