Many of you know the barber Eddie, of Nicks Barber Shop in Paso, as well as the greater Fresno area. I'm sure a lot of you have met him! He has been a staple of our community cutting the hair and touching lives of many fellow men and women of all ages through his work with hair for the past 30+ years. It is with a heavy heart I reach out asking for the support of our community in helping Eddie pay for some of his recent medical bills. You may have noticed the staple blue pickup truck has not been in the barbershop parking lot recently, well that's because while he was at work last week Eddie was not feeling well. He drove himself to the E.R where they located a hemorrhagic stroke. Soon after he was airlifted to a nearby hospital for a stay in the icu. This could last up to 3 weeks, with an unknown recovery period after that. While he has money saved, no one can expect this, as well as all of the extra medical bills that accumulate quickly. Eddie wants to make sure anything given is appreciated so much and is a blessing. I am doing this to help him out though he is reluctant to accept it, he has. His very wise wife Patrica, of many many years and multiple children have been a wonderful support for him and are so thankful for anything we can do to help.

Eddie has a heart of gold and is always the first to reach for some extra cash when others are in need and it's our turn as a community to help his family now if we are able. Eddie would not want you to ever burden yourself to help him, so please only do what you can, even if that is volunteering at the upcoming BBQ.
