Rachel Stieglitz Clark Memorial

Rachel Stieglitz Clark had breast cancer in 2012.  That cancer returned in March of this year.  Unfortunately she developed leptomeningeal carcinomatosis, which as you might not know, is an untreatable kind of cancer that only occurs in 5% of people with cancer.  After 3 rough weeks, she had a neurological accident this week. Rachel passed and leaves a loving Husband (Mark) and two little boys (Noah, 4 and Andrew, 8) who she loved so much.  She also leaves family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Mark is in the Navy and the family had plans to move to Japan when Rachel was first diagnosed with breast cancer 4 years ago.  They remained in the states to get the best course of treatment.

Mark recently completed a 9 month assignment away from home.  He returned in the fall to Germantown Maryland where Rachel and Mark started rebuilding towards their future with their 2 young sons.  It was cut short in March with this newest diagnosis which has devastated the entire family, friends and community.  They were living away from family and couldn't have survived without the love, support and help from Rachel's parents.

Rachel would always do everything for her kids and we want to make sure Mark can continue doing everything that Rachel would have wanted to do.

These donations will go to Mark - so that he can continue to care for himself and his little boys with love and devotion, just like Rachel did for the three of them on a daily basis.

This fund is set up by her friends from the Bedford High School Class of 1995; many of them she knew since elementary school.

Please consider donating to help Mark and his boys.

Thank you!
David Kern on behalf of all of Rachel's friends from the Bedford High School Class of 1995
