Skip's Medical Fund for Cancer

My name is Tina Bledsoe.  My husband, Skip Bledsoe, has been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer, aggressive.  We are asking for donations to help us pay medical bills, help with yardwork (so he will not be out there mowing with the oxygen tank following behind!), help paying utility bills, lost wages.  He is unable to work.  I have used up all my vacation and sick days while he has been in ICU - on three different occasions for a week or more at a time, so I am not getting paid.  I am with him when he has chemo treatments and has a doctor's appt with his oncologist.  Last chemo treatment he had to have a platelet transfusion.  He has received so many blood and platelet transfusions his three stays in the hospital that we have lost count.  The cancer is in his lungs, lymph nodes, liver and bone marrow.  Therefore, his bone marrow is not working, his platelets, red blood cells and white blood cell counts are way low.  He is currently in ICU because his platelets were undetectable and his red blood count was low.  He was so weak he could barely walk.  They said by the grace of God he was still with us.  God was definitely watching over him then, as He is now.  He now has a bacterial infection in his blood.  We know God will heal him of this terrible disease.  We are already getting billed for the previous two hospital stays and all the tests that were done.  We know times are tough for everyone.  Any amount you could donate would be helpful.  My husband, like most men, is a proud man and finally agreed to my looking into the GoFundMe campaign.  Your donation will be a relief for my husband and I.  He is worried about how we will survive and make ends meet.  H e really needs to concentrate on getting healthy, getting his strength back and not stressing about how the bills are going to get paid, who will do the yardwork, etc.  It would be a load off both of us if you could find it in your hearts to help.  From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your thoughts and prayers and any donation you might be able to give.  God bless you.
