It takes a village

Hi, my name is Bailey, I’m the daughter-in-law of Mark and Sue Ferrier!

I am asking for your help in taking some financial burden off of my wonderful mother and father-in-law while they walk through a medical journey that began suddenly and unexpectedly!

Mark started experiencing pain with exertion, which was uncommon for him, given his labour intensive career as a carpenter! He went to the hospital and had some testing done, some of which came back normal and other testing came back as a bit of a red flag! The doctor was very thorough and ordered an angiogram to rule out anything cardiac in origin! While Mark was waiting for this test as an out-patient, his chest pain intensified and he found himself back at the hospital to now be admitted for the long weekend until they could transport him to Barrie for the angiogram! He has since had the test, which came back worse than anticipated and instead of the stents they originally thought he may need, it turns out that he needs either a triple or quadruple bypass (to be determined during surgery). Mark will remain hospitalized until his turn comes up for this operation! This has put a considerable amount of mental, emotional and financial strain on this beautiful couple! If you have the means, please help as you can, to relieve them of the extra financial pressure during this challenging time!

Mark is adamant on his health so it’s alarming that he would be faced with heart complications! For the last several years, Mark has researched and lived a lifestyle that would preserve his health and well-being so this diagnosis was a shock for everyone!

Mark and Sue would give all they had to someone in need and have always been the first ones to lend a helping hand! Let’s show them some serious love and generosity during this time to help cover their expenses and time off work so that Mark can heal up and get back to doing some of his favourite things like spending time with his beautiful grandkids!!
