Larry's Medical Fund

My name is Stacia Freeman, I'm raising money on behalf of my father Larry Smith, who was diagnosed with cancer two years ago. Almost immediatey after finding out a lump on his neck tested positive for cancer the doctors relaized it had spread into his glands, neck and face. Surgeries were scheduled! He managed to get through the surgeries however, the chemo and radiation was next. The effects on his life were unimaginable, going from being 100% independent to waking up on feeding tubes, hearing lose, teeth lose, feeling like death daily is something nobody deserves. My sister and brother having to drive him to the hospital an hour away for six months every day for treatments was an emotional breaking point for our family. Watching our father be tortured with shots, medicine, is somthing we will never forget. However, he is a strong man and he made it through this stage. Recently his feeding tubes were removed and he is getting back to what he loves, his family. It's still a long recovery, this is why we are asking for donations for him. The chemo and radiation has destoyed his hearing. We went on another doctor appt today and the doctor reccommeded a hearing test. He measured way below normal. He needs hearing aids in both ears. We want our father to be able to feel normal again. We want him hear like he use to especially to have that quality time with his grandchildren. Anything helps!
