Help the Del Grosso Family

The DelGrosso family suffered a great loss last night when Pa gained his heavenly wings. He was loved by everyone who knew him, but even more so, he loved everyone he met. You could feel his love the moment he’d see you through his hugs and smile. He loved everyone like his own. He was by far the most hardworking, dedicated, and supportive man around. His world revolved around all 9 of his children and his 11 grandchildren. It made him so proud watching all of their biggest accomplishments from watching the kids soccer teams, cheering them on at football games, graduations, or welcoming all 11 grandchildren into the world. Whether it was sleeping in his van in the parking lot so the kids and their friends could spend the day at Six Flags; or taking them all to Chicago Fire games…Pa was always there. Pa’s passing was sudden and unexpected... He was first diagnosed with covid-19 in late October. For over a month he was in the ICU fighting for his life. Unfortunately, other underlying conditions caused great complications. In an attempt to save his life, family had to make hard decisions one of which resulted in a loss of his limb. He then made progress and we were all hopeful for his recovery but then he took a turn for the worst. The family needs our help to give Pa what he deserves. If you can find it in your heart to make a donation, it will be greatly appreciated. No amount is too small. The world reminds us far too often just how uncertain life is. If there is anything to come from this, we encourage everyone to live their life loving and supporting one another, in honor of Pa and the way he lived his life.
