Hello everyone! Kym is the most kind hearted person, one could ever know. She’s dedicated her life loving and caring for her family, friends, and even strangers. She expects nothing in return but love and kindness. Every day I hear her scheming different ways she can do more to make others happy and feel loved. Here are just a few of the many examples of her selflessness.... Over the past few years, her Mother, Lorna, battled with dementia. While Lorna slowly deteriorated, Kym remained close by her side.. providing love and comfort. In the end Kym assisted Lorna with life’s most basic functions. Always giving Lorna respect and love. Kym was by Lornas side, holding her hand when she took her last breath. Devastating, but Kym stayed strong and true to her family and friends. On a few occasions, I caught Kym heading out the door with a handful of sac lunches. She randomly hands those lunches to people in need. She spends every moment she can with her grandchildren, finding different little ways to embrace and celebrate them. There isn’t a day that goes by where Kym doesn’t talk about her grandchildren, how proud she is of her boys, and different little things she does/thinks of to make our lives a little more special. She truly cares about everyone around her. But what about her? For quite some time, I have heard Kym share dreams of going on a journey with her close friends. As she explained it, the journey would be one of the last epic things she accomplished in her life. She dreams of walking the Camino de Santiago. A mind freeing, extremely rewarding journey for Kym to enjoy. Please help make Kym’s dream come true. :) The trip is about 30 days long. All donations will go toward food, lodging, airfare, etc...
