Hi everyone my name is Lynne Cahill Gomez On November 2 I received a gut Wrenching call from my sister Laurie A single mother of two children and grandmother of four children that She has non-Hopkins lymphoma(cancer) This was very devastating we had lost our sister JILL earlier in the year. Laurie was admitted right away to start chemo treatments as it turned out she needed a more aggressive chemo treatment which they were unable to provide in the local hospital so then she was transferred to a hospital in the next town where they could start the chemo right away which ran 24 hours straight for five days. After about two weeks the bills started to come in the mail. The bills for chemotherapy hospital stays, prescribed medication and expense of traveling back-and-forth to the hospital. Because she is on SSI and her two children and four grandchildren live with her because of financial difficulties. Without help Laurie won’t be able to continue her chemo treatments that she so desperately needs.
