I write this today as a dear friend. On 11/22/2020 beautiful, vibrant, wonderful Grace decided to take her own life. Hearts are breaking, lives are shattered and there are so many questions we will never have the answers to.  Words can't even begin to describe this horrible pain of losing a child, the immense sadness we are all feeling, this never-ending void, it seems hard to breathe at times. I wish I could share so much of Grace with everyone. All the fun times, funny nicknames, the rainy hikes. She was an artist, a lover of candles and citrus scents. She adored cozy fires in the hearth and fuzzy blankets. She loved reading in trees. Her laughter lit up every room it ever touched, and her only goal in life was to make everyone around her feel happy and loved. She will be missed with every single heartbeat, throughout every single day. We will always remember Grace with joy and laughter, love and light.  As we wrap our memories of Grace in those feelings, and as the family trudges through the thickness of this pain I ask for your prayers and understanding as they learn how to live without their sweet girl right here next to them. I can’t even fathom a loss such as this, one no parent should eve have to bear. In this time of sorrow and pain I want to give them support and I want to show them love. I want to help lessen the burden of handling financial tasks or planning a funeral which can seem impossible during these times. I know it is difficult for them to know where to start, but we as friends, we as a community can start right here and pour our love, kindness and support into helping them celebrate Grace’s life. 100% of donations will go directly to the family to help with whatever they need in this time of grief and to allow them some much needed relief during this transition into a new way of living. Grace is a spiritual gift that involves love and mercy given to others and to give others the love and mercy others have given us throughout our lives.
