I sit here as I write, THANKFUL for mine and my grandmas life and feel it is important to lead with this as I share our story. We shared a home with our puppy named Jack, two cats Audrey and Tigs along with their four kittens. This past Saturday, June 27, 2020, me and my grandma experienced one of the most traumatizing situations from a fire that came blazing from our kitchen. A fire so intense that controlled the situation leaving us without a home and our belongings. Firefighters were able to save my grandma who was trapped in her room from the fire and our animals minus 3 of the baby kittens.
