Kyle and Lisa - Medical fund
Donation protected

My name is Erik and a group of us are trying to raise money for the Banias. Here is a little about them; Kyle and Lisa were riding back home to Milwaukee WI from the Rolling Thunder motorcycle ride in Washington DC on Memorial Day 2016. For those of you who don't know, Rolling Thunder was established as a reminder to the nation of all the POW and MIA who have not made it back to the U.S.A. in service of our great nation. This weekend is very special to Kyle, who is an Army Veteran with 3 combat deployments, and has lost brothers whom he honors on Memorial Day.
While traveling through South Bend, Indiana on I-80 the motorcycle suffered a rear tire failure. Rear tire failure on a motorcycle at highway speeds creates a very dangerous situation for an empty motorcycle, let alone a loaded one with a passenger. Kyle did his best keeping the Motorcycle upright while reducing speed, but eventually succumbed to the uncontrollable fishtailing, and wandered into the median, where the motorcycle struck a hole and flipped onto its side.
Kyle suffered a broken clavicle, broken shoulder blade, 3 fractured ribs, a punctured lung and a concussion, along with a good amount of road rash. Lisa also suffered a broken shoulder blade and road rash.
While Kyle and Lisa have motorcycle and health insurance, they will both be out of work for some time, and Kyle will miss his Annual Training for the Army Reserves, which adds a cushion to their budget. Both Kyle and Lisa will have to attend physical therapy, and there is discussion of surgery for Kyles clavicle upon his return to WI.
As we all know, expenses will add up, with some of them not covered by insurance. We would like to create a cushion for them to ease the stress involved with their recovery.
Any donation of any kind would be appreciated and if you can't make a donation at this time please say an extra prayer for Kyle and Lisa as they begin to recover.
Thank you!
