Abby Meyer

Hi,

My name is Katrina and I am fundraising for Abby. For those that know Abby she is a strong, independent, caring and loving person. One that doesn't ask for help but who is always there for her friends and family.

On Friday May 5, Abby broke her left femur getting out of her car. As someone who experiences OI (Osteogenesis Imperfecta) and in combination with her age, this break is a life changing one for Abby now.

She will never fully recover from this break and her level of independence will change.

Abby is currently in the Royal Adelaide Hospital in traction for 6 weeks but with the high likelihood of requiring a surgery which is risky for various reasons. Regardless, she will be in hospital for a long time at this stage.
