Greetings Friends,
I am so pleased to announce that the producers of FashioNXT have graciously requested my participation in this Fall’s Fashion Week. I have been asked to design a 10 look collection to be featured on a runway dedicated to producing innovative & inspiring fashion. I am not only honored to be asked to be part of such a fantastic show, I am humbled to share the stage with such high caliber fellow designers.
The opportunity to be a featured designer in FashioNXT will not only heighten media awareness of my designs, it will accelerate the amount of brand recognition that I would need in order to develop myself as a true designer. The future of my career, and the prosperity of my creative growth, will be forever changed by participating in such an experience.
Ever since my father passed away, I’ve been holding onto a dream that allows me to find meaning in life. It’s been a long time coming, and I’ve forged many obstacles along the way. I have spent the greater part of the past 6 years of my life pouring my blood, sweat, and tears, into seeing my dreams of becoming a designer realized. And I am so so close to seeing those endeavors come to fruition.
In such, I want to make sure that I do everything in my power to foster becoming a reputable and self-sufficient fashion designer. And that means taking on challenges and opportunities that are laid out in front of me. I refuse to live my life with regret, and it appears my once infinitely unattainable dreams, are now within my reach . Thus, I accept the challenge that lays ahead of me.
The only obstacles that stand in my way at this juncture are purely financial in nature. In order to properly design and execute an entire collection the following costs needs to be considered:
-Entrance fee for runway participation
-Fabric, notions, & supplies
-Styling Options
-New equipment and tools
-Airfare to PFW
-Design Space needs
-Un-forseen costs
Take a moment to consider the following. My participation in this show will not be possible without the help of ALL of you. Moreover, there is a sense of urgency required, due to the show’s time sensitive deadline. The show takes place the first week of October. Thus, I will need to be fully funded as soon as humanly possible.
Please help invest in my future growth as a designer and creative professional. Know that I am eternally grateful for any financial aid that you can offer. All the best to each and every one of you.
