Remembering Mellisa Haynes

Donation protected
On April 6th, 2018 God gained another angel, Mellisa Haynes. She was a daughter, a sister, and a mother to four girls. Her daughters; Mariah Haynes, 21, Alivia Kilpatrick, 8, Sophia Kilpatrick, 8, Chloe Kilpatrick, 5. Mellisa had been struggling for 15+ years with her addiction problem. She spent her life trying to get help but never believed in herself. God finally saw that she could no longer try, she was at her lowest point and he wanted to take her pain away and put her to rest.

“I know you’ve been struggling for so so so long but I never thought you’d leave me at such a young age. I just talked to you. We never had that tight bond that I’ve always wanted with you and now I’m stuck wishing I could turn back time and just tell you I’m here for you, that I love you and hug you. I was always on your sideline cheering you on whether I showed you that or not. You gave me so many reasons to walk away and give up on you but I never did. I was still you’re number one fan. I’m so sorry for all of the things you’ve been through that made you weak inside. Life will never be okay without you but I’m going to live my life to the fullest because of you. I will take care of my little sisters for life and tell them all about you as they grow up. I hope you are at rest and are laying on a beach tanning or you found my dad, your high school sweetheart, and you’re doing things with him that you never had the chance to do. We all miss you so much already, you were and are definitely loved. When I was a young girl and we couldn’t see each other we would sing You Are My Sunshine on the phone, you will never stop being my sunshine. I love you, mom.” - Mariah.

Her family and friends want to have some type of service for her, she deserves to have the people who knew her and love her to all be together. All of her girls are living with her mom and we are creating this Go Fund Me to hopefully raise money for her ceremony and if the page does not raise enough for a ceremony then to celebrate her life somewhere that everyone can be together and if not that then the money will be used to support her girls. Her oldest daughter has been devastated, her twins have been sad but know that she is in Heaven and her youngest daughter doesn’t fully understand any of it yet.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out and sent prayers to her family. We all miss her so much.  She was, is and will always be so loved.
