For those of you who knew Cathy Domitrowsky Simpson, (known as "Katie" by close friends) you would most likely agree that to KNOW her was to love her.
Katie was an amazing, loving wife to her high school sweetheart, Chris. They would eventually marry and have four children together. Katie would become an incredible mother, as she was not only considered "Mommy" by her four beautiful children, but also as a teacher to them because she spent every available minute with her kids molding them into good people.
Katie was the perfect daughter and the perfect sister. Even if she wasn't related by blood, she treated many people like family, including Diana's friends who considered Katie an older "sister" as well.
Not to mention, Katie was the perfect friend, evidenced by all of the times she gave people a home to be welcomed into, arms to be held in, and a shoulder to cry on. If you knew Katie, you also know of her to be the hostest with the mostest at her epic barbeques.
You are probably just as in disbelief at her being taken away so soon and suddenly without any understanding of why she was as we are, but knowing how much Katie believed in heaven and Jesus, we take comfort knowing that she is at peace.
Even if it is incredibly hard for us, which it is.
