Hi! My name is Shelby.

I am a bright, kind, funny, sweet girl - or as my friends and family described me when I asked for their help with this.

I used to be a very unhealthy person. At one point, I weighed over 300 pounds! I started to take my health serious about 2-3 years ago after countless doctors wouldn’t help me further than telling me to lose weight. As I lost weight, and continued to feel worse internally and looked even worse externally - it was finally discovered that I had tumors growing throughout my entire body at a rapid rate.

As many of my friends and family know, I was diagnosed with cancer. I have been struggling tremendously not only with my physical health, but financially.

Even throughout my cancer diagnosis I have continued to work so I could provide for myself and have health coverage. As of today, 07/06/2023, I was told the only way I can proceed with my treatment plan is to pay my deductible of $2,500. I have tried to set up payment plans, but the payment plan only allows payments to be made and treatment to occur once the balance is paid. I have tried to apply for loans. I have called countless charities, churches, anywhere you can think of and unfortunately they are unable to help me.

I will be using any funds earned towards my $2,500 deductible. If by a miracle there is more than $2,500 donated, the rest will go towards my bills that will continue to be due even as I have to take time off of work.

This deductible is needed to receive chemotherapy and 2 surgeries to remove multiple masses. I cannot begin my treatment without paying this deductible and the cancer will continue to spread the longer I have to push it off.
