Over the last few years I've been cultivating a passion for the sport of floorball. Floorball is a type of hockey, which uses different equipment and rules. It's an international sport with lots of support overseas, and growing support in the US. I've been an instructor with the Gretzky Hockey School teaching kids to play floorball, and I started an intramural floorball league at Saint Martin's Unviersity where I'm the Director of Recreation Services. I'm wholeheartedly passionate about floorball and I'm working to continue to grow the sport in the US, specifcally in the Pacific Northwest.
I've recently been invited to join the USA Men's National Floorball team to compete in Riga Latvia Aug 11-14, 2016. For me this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to represent my country and compete at the highest level. In order to make this happen I your help to make this a reality. Part of my goal with this is to bring my experience back and use it to grow the sport and inspire the next generation to engage in this sport. My long term goal is to be offered a spot on the USA team for the World Floorball Championship in December 2016.
The money raised will go directly to my travel expenses to get to Latvia as well as food and lodging only. This is what it will take to get to the tournament. If I'm unable to raise the money I'll make sure its refunded accordingly. I thank all of you in your support of this venture.
