Stand By Lee

Hey there everyone. I wanted to take a moment to tell you about the strongest, most precious, giving, selfless man I know. Lee Farley, also known as Bump, has been caring for those in our community since he was a teenager. He has served on Dry Run Volunteer Fire Department, Johnson County EMS, Second District Volunteer Fire Department, Neva Volunteer Fire Department and Johnson County Sheriff’s Department as Deputy Bailiff for Johnson County Courthouse. He has also spent several years as a teacher for the Johnson County School System. Most of you all know his precious momma Lois Farley who loved and cared for every child that she came into contact with at Johnson County High School. He never asks for help but is always the first there to lend a helping hand with whatever need there may be. No matter how bad of a day you’ve had; he can tell you a story that will make you laugh and forget all about it. He is a loving husband, brother, grandson, uncle and dear friend to many. In November, Lee was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Cancer. This news has been devastating to him and our family. We know that with everything that is going on in this crazy world that through prayer and faith everything will be ok. We ask that all who can to please help us get him the treatment that he needs so that he can have a full and healthy life with his family. We also ask that you please add him to your prayer lists wherever you are. God’s got this; we just need to have faith. We love each and everyone of you and want to thank you for every thought and prayer.
