Hi everyone!

First off, I’d like to thank you all for taking the time to read this!  I’ll try to keep it as brief as I can.

My mom had been having some issues for a while, constantly fatigued, tremendous bleeding, constant dizziness, dangerously low Iron levels.
She repeatedly went to the doctors, they just kept saying she was “peri-menopausal” and brushed it off like nothing.

The symptoms continued for months until she finally forced the doctors to actually listen to her, and not write them off as common “woman issues”, they finally decided to do an ultrasound and found a fibroid around the size of a grapefruit sitting on the top of her uterus. They quickly realized they were wrong, and immediately decided she need surgery to remove not only the fibroid, but her uterus as well. To prevent more fibroids from developing.

She is scheduled for the procedure on December 15th of this year.

Normally, surgeons would go about this procedure laparoscopically but, due to the location and the size of the fibroid, they will have to do a fully open, abdominal surgery. The recovery time for a procedure like this is anywhere from 4-6 weeks.

Unfortunately, this procedure will cause her to be out of work for the recovery.

I am hoping to raise enough money to cover her lost wages, as well as some of the medical bills she will end up with.

My mom is the sweetest,  and strongest woman you’ll ever meet. She lights up a room as soon as she enters it, please consider helping out our family.
