Mike and Grace Gonzales found out their 3 week old son, Xavi, has a congenital heart defect that requires immediate surgery when he is 4 weeks old.  They are currently living abroad in Guatemala for Grace's teaching work and will have to pay $10,000 out of pocket for Xavi's surgery as well as uproot themselves to move back to the states as soon as Xavi is able so that he can receive the  follow up care and future surgeries he needs.  This is a difficult time for them as new parents, so anything you can give to help them through this would be wonderful!
