Our sweet little Athena Jo was born on August 7th. Athena came into the world with many challenges and already has been through a lot. By the time she was 4 days old, Athena had surgery to reconnect her esophagus to her stomach but it was not successful.  The surgeon will try again in the future but she will need to heal first and grow a little more. Athena has proven that she is a fighter! Other tests are scheduled and it is so important that her parents are able to stay by her side. Unfortunately, without financial help this won't be possible. Being with your child in need should never be dictated by bills.

All contributions are greatly appreciated and will help to alleviate any financial burdens (medical expenses, travel, food, lost income) her loving parents incur during this stressful time.
