Help Lorena as she battles cancer

Lorena Quinonez simply put is a diamond in the rough. She is the epitome of kindness. She has always been a caregiver to others, asking nothing of anyone ever. Truly, selfless. I've known Lorena for seven years. In the time that I've known her she has taken in various family members during their times of need and despite her own personal stress has shown up for my family always with a smile, always with humor, always with loyalty and love. Now it's time to take care of Lorena.

Lorena was diagnosed a few weeks ago with advanced stage ovarian cancer. The Dr is unable to operate at this time because the tumors are too large. The hope is that with chemotherapy the tumors will shrink enough that surgery will be able to occur and she can undergo a full hysterectomy. In the meantime she's undergoing rounds of chemo and praying that it's successful.

Lorena's family desperately needs help. They have to give up their apartment because they can't make rent so they will move in with Lorena's son and his family. Aside from needing monetary assistance with moving expenses and astronomical medical costs, they need a lot of medical supplies in order to be able to care for her properly and keep her comfortable. Items such as a bed with side rails, things to keep the home sterile, a walker, etc....

We live in an age where we are sent Go Fund Me's daily. I'm sure you've all donated to a few if not many. I ask you from the bottom of my heart to please make a donation for Lorena. Her family is an amazing example of love and support. They have the values that we should all strive for. They've been dealt a horrific blow and just need some financial support so they can give the amazing matriarch of their family, who has taken care of them always, the best chance she can to beat this.
