Gracie Barra The Woodlands is an Jiu Jitsu/MMA gym located in Spring, TX.
The recent rains triggered flooding that affected the gym with about a foot of water inside. The grappling mats, which are required for the gym to function, are a total loss. The money raised will be used to replace the mats.
We have received a lot of suport from the local martial arts community and our members are being taken care of as far as places to train is concerned. We really appreciate the support.
We want to get back to normal soon! The sooner we get the mat areas functional, the sooner we can begin serving our members again. We hope to have the mats installed and ready to begin classes again on June 13, 2016.
This gym was established 10 years ago, and is a second home to many people.
