Memorial Fund for Orion Mitchell

My name is Sarah Brooke Stiltner. Yesterday my dear friends Jonas and Kara Mitchell tragically lost their son Orion unexpectedly. At this time, they are unsure if this was an asthma attack or complications from pneumonia. He was at home when this happened. Kara tried desperately to perform CPR but it was unsuccessful. He was going to turn 5 years old this month.

Kara is the young mother of 5 other children ranging in ages from 2 months to 6 years. She and her husband Jonas have devoted their lives to raising their family. Jonas works incredibly hard to provide for them, but he will no doubt be out of work for the foreseeable future as their family processes and comes to grips with this devastating loss.
