I’m Big Guy, and I need your help!

Hi, My name is Warren or as my family calls me, Big Guy. I am a massive endangered California Desert Tortoise, that has been this big since the 70’s. I am truly history! Today on November 23, 2020 I was taken to the vet for a runny nose. As it often happens when you go to the doctor they also found something else that is hurting me. The doctor said I have a life threatening large calcium build up in my intestines. I have to get it removed before it gets too big. My family is devastated, you may ask why their hearts are broken. Well, it’s because I am part of their family. I wake up everyday from my heating pad and make my way to the refrigerator to wait for food. I entertain them with with the many breaks I need to get from one place to the other, don’t judge me, it takes a lot to move all this around. They like to watch me bask in the sun and pretend like I’m talking to them(I even have my own voice). If you could help me with the cost of the surgery, it would mean the world to me and my family.
