Luke’s go fund me, to help with expenses

Update 8/25/22: I’m excited to share that the family applied for a scholarship for Luke, to help cover the costs of the physical therapy program center in Colorado and was granted the scholarship they applied for!!!!! Insurance will cover 60 days of the 90 day program and the scholarship will cover the last 30 days.

This means, any funds raised here will go to cover any other costs to the family. Such as modifications needed for the house, equipment, or additional needs Luke is going to need. Thank you all for your love, prayers and  continued support. 

Update as of 8/23/22: While we exceeded our original goal, we are updating the goal amount to help with Luke’s estimated rehab costs. There is a rehab facility in Colorado where the family is hoping to send Luke. It is a 90 day intensive program that is well known for their success with spinal cord injury patients. Insurance will only pay for 60 days. The 30 extra days will cost $108,000.

Hello my name is Stacy and I created this fund to help ease some of the medical or any additional unforeseen out of pocket expenses from Luke’s neck injury. As some of you may know, Luke’s C1, C2, and C5 vertebrae in his neck are broken or fractured. It’s going to be a long road ahead for the family and we want to offer as much support to them as we can. 

Luke is such an amazing human and we have been blessed to have him as an extension of our own family. Luke and his family have been apart of the Aloha community for many years. Both of his parents are teachers in the Beaverton school district. Luke played football from Aloha youth football through all four years at Aloha high school. Graduating from Aloha High School. Luke loves his students and being a teacher himself.
