During this incredibly difficult year, one of our local families is facing increased hardships with the sudden passing of their beloved husband and father, Dave Tweed. At the young age of 52, Dave passed unexpectedly on Friday November 20th. He left too soon and his family could use all the support they can get. Dave was a loving and dedicated husband, father, son, and brother. Anyone who ever met him knows that he valued his family above all else. This is a family who has always been very involved in our community, more recently Dave was a part of the new Oxford Cornhole League, and the family was involved in coaching Oxford Golden Bears, running a Relay For Life team for many years, and everything in between. Due to the circumstances surrounding Covid-19, the majority of the family is out of work for the foreseeable future and is in need of financial support. All proceeds will go to the Tweed family for help with funeral services, bills, and other financial difficulties. I know the holidays are upon us and this year has not been easy, but a donation of any size will truly make a difference for this family.
