Lance Ortega's Memorial Funds

I, Melisa Ortega, am reaching out to our family and friends for support in raising some funds to help pay for my husband, Lance Ortega Jr.'s funeral and hospital expenses. 

My husband had a sudden and unforeseeable death. On Friday, 5/27/16, night my husband started to feel sick, but refused to go to the doctor, but didn't realize we were going to lose him in 3 days. On Tuesday, 5/31/16, early morning my husband and I were talking and suddenly he lost conscious and passes out in our couch. I checked to see if he had a pulse and he didn't. I called 911 and the operator had me start CPR until help arrived. He died 4 times on the way to the hospital and took 45 minutes resuscitate him. At the hospital the doctor informed us he had sepsis and pneumonia and didn't expect him to make it. Lance didn't want to go and fought thru it for 6 hours. 

Now it's just me and our 10 year old beautiful daughter, Jasmine Ortega. I never thought something like this could happen to us. My husband was only 31 years old. None of this seems real, that we would lose him so sudden.
