Enchilada Buffet for Nate the Great
Donation protected
People who ride in the Enchilada Buffet are crazy. As if mountain biking 80 miles wasn't stupid enough, the race is through some of the toughest terrain in Austin. It's really.freaking.hard.
Needless to say, the Enchilada Buffet requires training, and I don't do training.
But I'll train for my buddy, Nate the Great.
Nate is a two-year-old kid who loves all of the things two-year-olds love: farm animals, playing outside, not sharing his toys.
In November of 2015, Nate was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). His family has shuttled him back and forth to Corpus Christi since his diagnosis, and Nate sees his one-year-old brother, Caleb, when he can. The resilience of Nate and his family is amazing.
But cancer sucks, and watching a two-year-old be sick is the worst. Like many, I'd take his place in a heartbeat if I could.
But I can't.
So I'll go through my own day of hell and do what I can to make it better by riding in Nate's honor. Please help me by making a donation to help a two-year-old beat cancer. All donations are to help Nate get better (paying for medical bills), so he can go back to being a little kid.
I would really appreciate your help, and Nate would totally give you a high five.
