Stephanie Marks Peace medical fund

Stephanie and her husband have been in the business of teaching high school students for 20 years. Together they live in Cape Coral, Florida and work at Ida Baker High School.  They have 3 children, a 12 year old boy named Sean and their younger daughters Hailey, 6, and Makenna, 5. 

It is never easy to deliver bad news, and it is especially difficult when it is delivered to a young family with parents that are not only raising their own children but are also raising the children of their community.

On July 11, 2016, at 42 years old, Stephanie was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. This life changing news was a lot to process, understanding that the road ahead included an immediate change in lifestyle and facing the heartbreaking reality that teacher salaries will not be able to cover the outstanding expenses. 

This fund was created to assist Stephanie with her journey battling this terrible disease and to help cover bills for procedures that just might save her life.  Please, find it in your heart to donate what ever you can so we, as a community, can give back to a woman that has given so much of herself.
