Hi everyone, Atak Sports Australia are putting together a Fundraiser for Sean Newens. Sean plays for St. Kevin’s GAC in Melbourne. Sean unfortunately collapsed last week at a training session in Albert park. He suffered a cardiac arrest and had to get resuscitated by a defibrillator. He’s above in the Alfred now after getting heart surgery. He’s 20/21 years old and was told he can’t work or travel for the foreseeable future. It is doubtful he’ll ever play sport again and at the moment it is not safe for him to fly home. His family are obviously in Ireland and can’t come over. It would be great if the Irish community from all over Australia could come together and help this young lad, especially in these tough times. Thanks everyone
