Benitez Flood Relief Fund

Jorge, Natalie and Alexis Benitez are members of our church Small Group from Parkway Fellowship.  Their  home in Valley Lodge in Simonton is part of a neighborhood that is currently submerged in water.  They cannot get in to the neighborhood to see how bad the damage is at this time but 4 days ago water was right up to the house.  The river has risen several feet since then and it is almost certain that they will have significant damage,  It will be several days and possibly even a week or more before the water will reced enough to get in,  I am setting up this fund to help them off set their insurance deductibles, provide emergency funds for living now and in the days to come and to get started ASAP with the clean out and rebuild. Natalie is a good friend of mine and her 9 year old daughter Alexis is fiends with my daughter,  Last month when our home flooded they were there helping clean up, washing our clothes and bringing us clothes, shoes, toys, toiletries and special care packages for each member of my family.   Natalie had just undergone back surgery but was still helping us.  She also had another procedure done just a couple of days before this current flooding.  The family will need to replace almost all of the contents in their home,  Please give as you can. We don't have a picture of the current state of the house since there is no way to get in to take one,  This was the way they left their house on Saturday before the water rose several more feet.
