Bringing Brad Home
On Mother’s Day 2016 Brad set off on his next great adventure – a cross country motorcycle ride coast to coast to coast in under 100 hours. Unfortunately Brad was in a terrible accident and has since been in the hospital in San Diego, California. Brad suffered extensive injuries to his head, neck, and both legs. Due to the extent of injuries Brad has had numerous surgeries and will require more in the future. He is facing months of rehab and therapy. Insurance only covers the first 60 days in a rehabilitation setting. Michele has been by Brad’s side since the first night in the hospital. The boys were there for about 10 days. The goal for this gofundme fundraiser is to raise enough money to help offset the mounting medical expenses, the day to day living expenses away from home and to provide safe transportation for Brad to get home to Florida for his rehab. Many friends and family have expressed an interest in helping support both Brad and Michele but since they are 2000 miles away from home this is hard to do.
Brad is a “miracle” man according to his team of trauma doctors. He has a positive can do attitude and wants to return home to his family and normal life sooner rather than later. Those that know Brad know he is not good at just laying around. For those of you that know Michele and Brad know that they are very private and would not ask for help – they are always on the other side doling out support for everyone around them. Your donation will allow Michele and Brad to focus on what’s most important – Brad’s emotional and physical recovery while alleviating some of the financial burden. Let’s shower Brad, Michele, Brandon, Ian and Connor with love and good thoughts (as well as financial support) so we can bring Brad home and on the road to a speedier recovery.
I will update Brad’s condition as they feel comfortable with sharing the details. Thank you from the entire Jones family as well as extended family members.
Thank you for your generosity.
