Al is a Captain for the City of Norwich Fire Department in Norwich, Connecticut and has been on the job since 1999.  Recently he was involved in a motorcycle accident which left him severely injured.  Al was on his way to assit in placing flags on the graves of veterans when the accident happened.  He is married with a family of six.  He has served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

He is currently doing better, but he is not out of the woods yet.  He sustained a serious head injury and will require rehabilitation among other things.  We are starting the fund to assist him and his family in the recovery process as we know the financial burden can be extreme.

Al has been dedicated to country, community, and family his entire life.  With this unfortunate accident, we seek to help him along his journey to recovery.
