Rosemantico Flowers is closing its doors.

My name is Rigo Tejeda founder and owner of Rosemantico Flowers. For almost 2 decades, Rosemantico has been a staple in our community while bringing joy in the time of sorrow, happiness to countless brides, weddings and festive occasions. We have been a local, family owned, small business with a strong customer base in the Whittier and greater Los Angeles county area. COVID-19 has forced the cancellation and postponement of many weddings and events, and this has impacted Rosemantico Flowers significantly. Like many other small businesses, we have applied for several loans and grants offered to assist in keeping small business doors open. Unfortunately, due to high demand and limited funds and resources, we have not received any assistance. Like many other small businesses, we stand alone with no support from our government and must make ends meet while fending for ourselves. Due to these unprecedented circumstances, we will be forced to close our doors in February 2021. This was a difficult and tough decision but have been left with no choice. The one hope we have is with technological advances and online sales, we are looking into the possibility of opening a work at home studio. Downsizing and reducing the high expense of “Brick and Mortar” costs is the only way we will be able to survive. This still comes at a cost and for this reason I am appealing to your generosity and support. I was just 28 years old when I became a flower shop business owner and to see all the years of hard work and dedication come to an end is heartbreaking. I hope you find it in your heart to help this small business continue to offer the BEST in floral services to the community. Thank you in advance and remember, when words escape, FLOWERS speak.
