Our grandniece, Avaline has been in the burn unit of St. Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco since May 18th.  As we have come to learn, Avi is among the nearly 200,000 children who is seriously burned each year by accidentally coming into contact with a hot substance. 

With much love from her family and the dedicated care of the doctors and nurses in the burn unit, she continues to heal slowly.  Her spirit is strong.

However, this tragic accident has placed undue financial strain on the family.  By setting up this site, we hope to raise money to help support them through an unbelievably challenging time!  Please consider donating your "Starbucks" money today.  It would make a world of difference to them.  Any donations will go directly to Nick and Jessica.
