Help: Family Homes Lost in Camp Fire

Donation protected
On the morning of Nov. 8th, a wildfire started in Northern California; The fire was shortly named 'Camp Fire,' and became one of the most destructive fires in California's history. It didn't take long for the Camp Fire to tear through the city of Paradise, basically destroying the entire town that housed 27,000 people.

My mom, Kathleen McMillan and my sister, Katie McHarvey, both lost their homes in Paradise, CA,  as well as all of their belongings, besides the ones they could grab and run with to their cars. Katie lives with her husband, George, and their incredibly sweet and brave 2.5 year old son, Emmett, and my mom Kathleen lives with my brother, Jason; they also own a dog and two cats. They are all now homeless, staying at a friends house in Sacramento and trying to plan their next steps.

Any type of support would help my family tremendously; this includes any donations ranging from financial to material. Clothes, toys, necessities for their animals, and financial help, even as much as a gift card, would be incredibly appreciated. Although any physical donations would be appreciated, at this moment in time, finances are their immediate concern. As mentioned, gift cards to restaurants, retail stores like Walmart or Target, supermarkets, pet stores, home accessory stores, etc., would be the most helpful. These can be sent to them via e-mail or postal services. Listed below are people you can contact for e-mail and address information.

Anyone hoping to help can reach out to myself, Shannon McMillan, or my friend, Kristina Miller by private message or phone. We will gladly collect and get any donations delivered to them ASAP. We will provide you with necessary information like e-mails and a mailing address.

George and Kathleen also have Venmo accounts. If you feel compelled to help out financially, just reach out for usernames.

As most know, in addition to the Camp Fire, the Woolsey Fire and Hill Fire are affecting much of Southern California. Thousands are in need of assistance but if you want to know for sure that your donations are being used for victims, look no further. Please help if you can. Not everyone was as lucky as my family; they are still alive and we are so incredibly grateful. Much love, stay safe and hug your loved ones.
