Sending him Home
"Antonio Sage Rodriguez, A.K.A. Bozzie Johnson is a beautiful soul, and his mother loved her first born son fiercely and completely. Bozzie was fatally struck Thursday, November 12th 2020 in Portland, Oregon. He was 28 years old. Recently enrolled in a apprentiship program he had attained several certifications including the Oregon Department of Transportation's credential certifying him as a flagger in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. He was survived by a daughter. He was a loving father of a adorable 4 year old girl -Tigerlily. She not only inherited his amazing spirit and beautiful smile, but his zest for life. We will keep his memory alive for his daughter, and pass his stories along to his grandchildren.
He is being memorialized here in Portland, Oregon before we take him home to Red Lake, Minnesota-His final resting home: Redby, MN. Tony grew up in two worlds, and considered both Portland and Red Lake his home.
I am asking for prayers for his family and financial contributions from all who are willing. The cost of the memorial services and burial are considerable. Totaling over $10K. If reached the $5K will help one of the most beautiful families I have been lucky enough to meet bury their loved one. If you want to attend the Candlelight Vigil will be tomorrow, Thursday, November 19th at 7 P.M. at the Max Station at 122nd and E Burnside. The scene of the collision. Thank you for reading this gofundme posting and please share with your friends so as many people who met Tony can see this. Thank You!
