This has been a very devastating and trying time for this small family, and Chloe is my goddaughter and I just want to see them get back on their feet and start over again because they lost so much.  Thanks to many of my Facebook friends, I was able to get Elaine and Chloe into an apartment.  At least it brought them some normalcy into their lives.  

     They were able to evacuate and pack up as much as they could fit into their small car.  They lost just about all of their belongings. Elaine was able to grab a few sentimental items along with some clothes and a few toys for Chloe.

     It was great we were able to get them into an apartment, but they still need furnishings, food, clothes, and everyday things.  Elaine had to sell their vehicle, so they are trying to get something cheap to just get around in.  

     I was paying the bill each week for Elaine and Chloe to stay in the hotel, but now that they are in an apartment, I send them as much as I can each week, along with all of your donations.  She knows everyone's name that donated, and she wanted me to thank you all so much.  If she had any type of electronics, she would tell you herself, but unfortunately, all of that got burned up in the fire.  They need too many things right now to even consider getting a computer or a smart phone.
